Mike graduated from The Refrigeration School Inc in 1995 having graduated their electro-mechanical technology course as well as their 3 month add on course for commercial and residential electrical.  Mike is a seasoned HVAC, controls, and mechanical systems expert with over three decades of experience spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and highly specialized environments. From clean rooms and department of defense research facilities to large-scale hospital systems and everyday home comfort solutions, he's built a career on solving complex technical problems and delivering reliable, high-quality work.

His background includes deep expertise in Johnson Metasys controls, BACnet integration, air balancing, system commissioning, and start-ups for large mechanical systems.  He's led and trained teams, taught HVAC principles at multiple colleges, and built a long-standing reputation for diagnosing and repairing issues that others can’t. Whether it’s advanced automation, electrical troubleshooting, low-temperature environmental chambers, or 100-ton chillers, he's worked on it—and made it operational.


As the owner and operator of Youngman’s Mechanical, he combined technical mastery with customer-focused service. He provides HVAC installation and repair, electrical work, refrigeration, plumbing, framing, and full mechanical diagnostics. He's managed projects from the ground up, handled system integrations on major campuses, and supported organizations such as BAE Systems, DARPA, and DOD research programs.


He takes pride in being the person people call when they need it done right. His approach is simple: work with integrity, stay current with evolving technologies, and deliver solutions that last. Whether he's helping a homeowner program a thermostat, installing a new residential system with ductwork, or troubleshooting a large facility HVAC failure, he's proud to bring excellence, safety, and long-term reliability.
